Candidate for South Central Director

Hello all!

Let me introduce myself, my name is Alan Sailors and I am running for the GSPCA South Central Director position. 

My wife Amy and I live in central Texas and currently own and are campaigning a 2 1/2 year old shorthair in field trials, both in the state and at national events. Along with being active members of the Gulf Coast German Shorthaired Pointer Club, We have been members of the GSPCA for the past several years and are very thankful for the opportunity to potentially represent the South Central region.

Having grown up in the field trial world, Horseback field trials are my passion. With that being said the importance of transparency cannot be overstated of what believe I can bring to this position. 

Firstly –  being a voice for the field trial world and helping preserve, promote and improve the amenities at the national, regional, and local levels that many who came before us worked incredibly hard to build and secure so we may successfully showcase these birddogs. 

Secondly – the overall promotion of this incredible breed and how we continue to advance the positive qualities that they possess. 

Last but not least –  working together with my fellow GSPCA members, both board and non board members, to improve and continue the success of this organization and the wonderful people and dogs who make it up!
